2009-2011
Design and Build
In 2009 through 2011 I was part of a team that designed and built a food drying system. My role was initially a project coordinator, but I was almost immediately put in charge of procurement and implementation. I helped design processes , implemented the SCADA control system and was in charge of the project startup. I regularly worked with vendors for all aspects of the build.

Being a one-off design, there were various troubleshoot and redesign "opportunities" where I honed my troubleshooting skills. The system used a distributed I/O and logic system with SCADA software to manage and control the system.
Being in a harsh and regulated environment, this system had to comply with various regulating agencies. It was inspected and approved 3A compliant.
