Soil Amendment Processing Plant
Design and Build Project
2012
In 2012 I partnered with a PE from Oregon to help design and build a soil amendment processing plant in Mexico. My role was to realize the conceptual designs of my partner using Solidworks and AutoCAD, create fabrication drawings and to also procure parts, equipment and facilitate the fabrication process.

During the project I would regularly travel to Mexico for meetings with management, local fabricators and to gather info such as dimensions and constraints.

Through my years of experience, I have built a network of trusted fabricators, machine shops and part suppliers. Leveraging this network, I was able to get OEM pricing and expedited lead times throughout the project.
Control panels for temperature and process control were designed and built by me. Other panels built by me (but not shown) consisted of wireless pump-cart panels for flow control and monitoring, level controls, and Emergency-Stop panels.
